Why Water Access Matters
Access to clean, safe water is the foundation of daily health, human dignity, and economic stability. In many South African communities, access remains severely restricted, unreliable, or shared at unsustainable levels.
This partnership focuses on practical, infrastructure-led solutions that improve water security, strengthen community resilience, and directly advance United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.
The Projects we Support
Water Access for a Rural, Informal, Off-Grid Township
Bringing direct water access to over 60 informal homes situated on the mountainside of a township in Ocean View, Cape Town. This community currently operates without grid services, electricity, or sanitation, relying on a single tap for the entire settlement.
Clean Water Supply Program for High-Density Townships
Developing a new water distribution network for a township where over 70,000 residents currently share just three municipal taps.
